In our video conferencing app network access seems to get shut down for a couple of sec approx. every 15 sec ONLY when subscribed to Geolocator's StatusChanged/PositionChanged; works fine otherwise. As we try to keep latency under 1 sec, losing connectivity for a couple of sec every 15 sec really hurts. Does this have anything to do with wifi being one of location sources? Is there any way to select (a) location source(s) to use, like on other platforms?

What's the need for geolocate with a video conference application? Are you using geo to sidestep getting tomestoned or allowing your app to run in the background?
