I have installed windows 8 in my system for developing for windows phone 8.

I download the software and it told me this- "Your machine does not have hardware virtualization capability. So, your machine is not SLAT capable".

It's a requirement for the emulator. If your hardware is not capable your only option other than getting a compatible computer is to get a phone to test on.
