A few weeks ago I posted a question asking if we can make WCF calls from a background process in WP8.  I haven't had time to ramp up on WP8 because I've been busy porting my WP7 apps over to Android where maybe I can make some money.  But I posted that question because if the answer is no then I won't be interested in continuing to persue Windows Phone development.  It's a very important question and, while having 84 views, not a single response.  There could be several reasons for no response...

I'll be honest. I went and read your post. As someone that runs and moderates other forums your post didn't really give me the feeling to help you. Again, just being honest. If you come right out and say you haven't had any time to look at something and then go and ask a question that can be sorted out from the documentation found on this site... most people may just pass and move onto the next thread.

In the future you could just change your approach slightly or just take your entitled writing style down a notch and people may be generous with responses.
