Hi, I am deploying a new tenant for a customer  and I want to add a custom domain.

I have added the TXT record as specified since more than 10 hours now and verification is pending :(

I am stuck in the customer offices and need to verify the domain soonest :(

Pre-existing custom domain: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/app-service/app-service-web-tutorial-custom-domain

When you say that it is pending, can you verify whether it is pending on the Azure side or on the domain side? Are you using an existing domain or a new domain? 

In my lab environment I added a domain from GoDaddy and it took over 24 hours for everything to validate. The instructions I followed said that it could take 1-2 business days to get approved because the approval is managed by a particular team.
