I am currently working on a sharepoint website for my team at work. I was able to insert our group calendar but I would like to have it show just the current week with out the hour of the day. Is there any way to edit the view to get this to happen? Thanks!

From your description, you want to show just the current week without the hour of the day in your group calendar.

Where do you insert group calendar? Please offer a screenshot about your group calendar. 

Why not using SharePoint default group calendar?

Configure a calendar as a group calendar:

In a calendar->List Settings->Under General Settings, click Title, description and navigation->In the Group Calendar Options section, set Use this calendar to share member’s schedules to Yes.
