I am using SharePoint 2010 and I want to set up custom alerts based on choices other than those provided. I have Regions, Districts, and Sites. We have heads of these groups. They do not create the list items. I would like for our Regional Managers to be alerted when a project changes in their region. I am unfamiliar with code, so I'm hoping there's an easier method. I will have to train people on how to create alerts and I know they do not know code.
