I have a C# tray icon application that run from Windows 2000 to Windows 2008. But with Windows Vista and Windows 2008 I am getting crazy with UAC. When an administrator double-click the application or logon to Windows (the application is configured on Registry to start at logon), I ever get the UAC control. I tried to use a manifest with level="requiredAdministrator" enabled but even so I get a baloon that ask for OK to run. Is there a way to allow an administrator to execute the app when he double-click or logon, without the interaction of UAC? Note that I dont want ask the user to diisable the UAC in Policy Configuration. Please, I know the security risks of this approach but that is a requirement.
Any help will be welcome.
