Is there a way to emulate a device with biometric devices in visual studio?
Our company is looking to incorporate Windows Hello (Windows Biometric Framework) into our app to support iris and fingerprint authentication. Right now RequestVerificationAsync() always returns no biometric devices found.
Since no phones support the fingerprint scanner yet, we're hoping windows has provided a way to develop against this framework on a local machine.

As far as I know, the VS doesn't support this feature now.

(2) You could submit a feature request here: http://visualstudio.uservoice.com/forums/121579-visual-studio, if the request got enough vote, maybe the product team would think about adding it as a new feature in the future.
