Hello. I have a project for microsoft studio. I dont know the version. I am trying to open and i keep getting the  following messages 

.vbproj cannot be opened because its project type (.vbproj) is not supported by this version of application to open it please use a version that supports this type of project

 Does anybody has an idea ,what should i do in order to open it;

Thanks for your post.

Could you please tell me what's the version of your Visual Studio?

According to the error message your provided. I think the problem is probably that the project is not compatible wiht your Visual Studio.

One idea is that you could try to change another version of Visual Studio to open this project. Maybe other version of Visual Studio support to open this project.

Or I suggest you'd better create a new same type of this porject then copy the code from that project into the new created project.
