Hi all;

使用WebClient(C#)从网站读取文件时，

When using WebClient (C#) to read a file from a website I see negotiate listed as a distinct authentication protocol in some places. But in other places it reads like it just means try NTLM, then Digest, then Basic.

And Windows authentication is the same thing as NTLM - correct?

Is it distinct? (I have a bad feeling this is a basic "why didn't you look at X" question. But I swear, I have looked around a lot.)

With the webclient it is very easy. If you can download a file with IE, you can also use the webclient.

Be aware downloading a file does never mean you are allowed to use it for more than is told on the website.
