having read a lot of the other suggestions and having tried (obviously unsuccesfully) to get this working through reinstall at least a dozen times, I'm starting a new thread.

I have a Windows XP SP3, on a pretty new Dell (Latitude 6500). The main other things installed are Office 2007 and Adobe CS3. The WDS does not work properly, crashing on startup everytime (in fact, hundreds of time a day as it is a service...). I tried the install from within outlook, from XP, etc and each give me the same issue: an event log full of the following error message.
