I want to create a Web Application.. Based on Tax Realated. i want to extract (retrieve) Text or String from a PDF file or Excel File.

i thought tat first we've to convert pdf to excel file then we can retrieve the data..

Can any one Tell Me how to Achive this problem.. With Step by Step.. I'm beginner in asp.net.. so code explanation is needed..
