Currently i am stuck in a situation wherein one of our site collection was set to read only through Site Quota section...

we are having multiple users with admin privileges is there any way (logs) to find out who had set the site collection to ready only state ?

Hi Rohit,

This will happen automatically sometimes when a site exceeds its quota.
So it is possible that SharePoint itself locked it.
