My project uses xaml, and I was investigating using stringformat to require an input field to be decimal. When trying to start the modifed project I was told I needed to have some MS properties updated, so said OK. Lots of updates seemed to happen. Now startingthe project, it fails to start immediatelly, giving xamlprseexception. I then reloaded the old code from TFS and tried to start the project but got the same error, even though new changes had been removed. The project compiles but does not start. I assume I have updated some MS libraries, but do not know what, or how to reverse the changes. Any advice as to where to start please.

It seems that this exception also affected the old project in TFS. One possible reason is that Visual Studio or the library you used in your project was changed.
