Anything (pretty much) that the Silverlight DataGrid can do, can be done in the LS DataGrid (as it's basically using a Silverlight DataGrid, with some LS stuff wrapped around it), as I pointed out way back in my How To Enable Multiple Row Selection In Lightswitch's Grids sample.. It's just not automatic, you have to do some work in code to coax those extra features out.
