I am trying to set up Lab Manager with SCVMM (TFS 2012 - on premise). I have created a new environment with one Windows 7 VM (from a template) on it but I cannot get the "Install Agents" process to work.

I have created a local user named TFSLab on the Test Controller and the VM and added them to the Admin group, and it is this that I am specifying to use in the Install Agents box (.\TFSLab), but I get the following error (Win 7 32 is the name of the machine): "Windows 7 32: One or more machines are not accessible because the user account provided is not a member of the Administrators group on the machine".

I have tried to install the agent manually and this seems to work except it constantly hangs at the last step of 'stopping the agent' so I have to kill the process.

Any advice on the different users I should be using for Lab Management would also be appreciated.

2. Is your TC IP Sec exempted ??

3. Is controller machine <a href="file://\\\Admin

4. Can you ensure printer and file sharing is enabled on the Lab Agent Machine for workgroup??

Can you share the following details

1. Exact error message you are getting in mtm while you are trying to do install agents by inputting user name and password ??

2. Can share the event logs of controller and test agent machine, while you are manually trying to register TA to TC (It is not recommended, do this way) ??
