Hello,
I am setting up replication from a Hyper-V host to Azure, using this procedure: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/site-recovery/hyper-v-azure-tutorial
When I attempt to load the downloaded registration key into the Site Recovery Registration Wizard on the physical Hyper-V host, I get a non-specific error of "If the key isn't working download a new registration key from the quick start page in the Azure site Recovery portal and then select it"
Others reporting similar behaviour traced the issue to incorrect time on the host - that should not be the case here, as the server is synced to ntp and time is correct. There is no help from the ASRlogs (for me anyway) ...it just says
SettingFileException object Status - CorruptFile
I have uninstalled and re-installed the registration program, and delete the Azure site, recreated one, and I always get the same problem.
It also seems others who have had problems have had more informative logs than mine.....I don't really get many clues.

with no improvement
Any help more than welcome, as I am now at a deadend.

Have you tried restarting the server and then try to re-register the server to see if that makes a difference?
