i have a Oracle Linux 6.6 with 300GB vmdk, the VM has custom partitions. What would be the best way to get this to boot on Azure?

its important to consider that sometimes even when you convert the VMDK to VHD format the boot partition may get broken, this depends on how the original OS handles it.
