I'm sharing a VM with someone in Azure Cloud.

As far as I know it is illegal to download piracy Torrents, so I'm afraid it eventually will involve me too.

Azure does monitor some aspects of usage, but unfortunately I am unable to state what is monitored.

I would not advise letting anything illegal happen on a VM that is under a subscription you own.
