I have Windows XP and Explorer 8.  I have been trying to access my work email.  I am told by our IT department to use https://[e-mail].  Everytime I try this I get a message windows cannot find to check the spelling and try again.  I have also tried http://[e-mail], and [e-mail].  Nothing works.  I have not had to access work email for at least a year and at that time I had Explorer 6 and did not have a problem.  The IT Dept. at work said they have no idea what could be the problem.  Can anyone help me with this?  Thank you.
