i am making program to store path of folder in database and can user open folder dialog and show the files stored in this folder
the path stored in database like this:
E:\finalhousingproject\housingproject\projects
the program work very well in my pc but when setup program to another pc the process of open folder do not work
please can any one help me

This is logically not working scenario. If number of users are storing their folder path in the database, how you are tracking the folder path for particular user? As OriginalGriff said, if you have Network shared folder in that case it should work fine if user have sufficient rights.

So, Storing local folder in the dabase for user X will not work for user Y. I suggest you to store files on Database or on Network shared folder.

It will only work if both PC''s have the same drive assignments to the same drive letter.

"E:\finalhousingproject\housingproject\projects" looks like it should be a networked drive, or a USB plug in. Unless the "E:" drive is available at all times from both PC''s and pointing at the same data, you will need to change the folder address (preferably before you store it) so that you can aim it at the right location on all machines.

Sorry if this sound a bit vague, but without knowing your actual site setup, it has to be, really.
