I have two systems that I run VS2010 SP1 on.  The first is a Windows 7 x64 host.  The second is a Windows 7 x86 system running as a VM in VMWare Workstation.  Both computers are members of the same AD domain, and I use the same domain account on both systems for VS 2010 use.  Everytime I log out and back into the VM, VS2010 presents the "Choose default environment settings" dialog and has lost many important customizations.  I do not see this dialog if I log out and back into the host system.  I see the dialog whether or not I'm running VS on the host machine at the same time I start it on the guest.

Through GPO, the AppData folder is redirected to the local user profile path and the profile is stored on a server share.  The Documents folder is also redirected to a server share through GPO.
