I have signed up and been approved for Data Lake Gen 2, however, the option to create hierarchical namespace in the azure storage v2 is still greyed out.

What 'Performance' property did you set?  I noticed the hierarchical namespace is greyed out when I select 'Premium', but it is available when I select 'Standard'.
