We're getting ready to decommission our original SharePoint DB server.  This server has a couple of SSAS instances (one for PowerPivot and another for a tabular data model).  I've got our new DB server configured with the same SSAS instance names and copied SSAS databases from old to new server.

I've done tests to verify our SQL alias is redirecting database queries to the new DB engine, but what I'm not sure about is if the alias is sufficient to also redirect SSAS related queries to the new server or if I need to make additional changes in SharePoint.
