I recently updated to IE8, and now my silverlight 2 applications are not debugging as they used to.

After I launch my app in debug mode on the localhost machine (developer computer), and I set a break point in the code, it always says 'The breakpoint will not currently be hit. No symbols have been loaded for this document'. Sure enough, they never get hit.

When my application crashes for any reason while in Debug Mode: the Visual Studio Just In Time debugger prompts me with a question of which debugger to use. The only options are new instances of Visual Studio, or MS Script Editors.

I'm using Visual Studio 2008, SP1. Silverlight 2 RTW, Silverlight Tools for VS, and Silverlight Toolkit Dec 2008. Upgrading to IE8 has caused this new behavior. I do not really want to roll back to IE7.

I've done the following: Checked both Disabled Script boxes in IE8 internet options. And deleted the registry key for the JIT Debugger.. the one at Local Machine, Software, Microsoft, Windows NT, CurrentVersion, AEDegug

Any suggestions?
