Hi,

We are having issues with regards to adding a new SSL cert. It was supplied in crt format and we need to convert it to pfx. The problem is that when we try to do so we are asked to provide a Private Key. We understand this needs to be generated on Azure, but we are unable to see how to generate it or where to find it.

IN case you are importing an existing certificate to Azure Key Vault, you need to have pfx version on your disk. You need to export an installed certificate with the private key (.PFX format) and a strong password, and save your certificate to your C:\ drive in a file named clientcert.pfx that you want to upload to Azure Key Vault.
