My experience with AADC is minimal. Here is my scenario:  I'm trying to migrate a domain from an on-prem 2007 server to Exchange online. Roughly 135 mailboxes. I have configured Azure AD Connect to sync their AD users and groups, but I am running into an issues with about 20 or so mailboxes: There are users with on-prem mailboxes that are being sync'd as contacts in Exchange online (this is clearly visible from the EAC). This is stopping me from provisioning a mailbox (SMTP conflict) and thus migrating any data for those users. No issues with the other 115 users as their mailboxes were created.
