I see in many discussions and articles that the label policy has been deprecated but the problem i'm facing is that the label option in the Microsoft Word 2013>Insert tab>Quick parts>Label option is not available on one of my SharePoint sites. So I've created a new document library in one of my other SharePoint sites and enabled labels in Library settings>Information Management Policy Settings>document>Enable labels, it works and gives me the option to add labels in the Microsoft Word. Now i don't understand if the label policy is deprecated than how am i able to get that option in other Document library on other site?
