I have Virtual Machine of SharePoint. I have created web application like http://myportal:12345 and i have map it with public domain like  http://myportal.cloudapp.net

Now i want to configure SSL certificate on my site so that i can access like https://www.myportal.com

for testing i have configure and install Self Signed Certificate on SharePoint VM. I have follow link steps

i have created binding in IIS for myportal.cloudapp.net on 443

problem is that site is not accessible on https.

Make sure you also add a new Network Security Group to your virtual machine to allow HTTPS communication over port 443. Without this, the traffic will be blocked at the Azure Load balancer level.
