Not sure if this is the right channel for this question, but I am attempting a POC to use SQLCLR to call an external web API from a database on an Azure SQL Managed Instance.  I can't seem to figure out how to configure outbound connections like linked servers or external service calls.  I'm guessing it has to do with the configuration of the MI VNet, but haven't gotten anywhere with it yet.  Anybody have any experience with this?

Is your external web API is on Virtual Machine under the same vNet?
If not, can you do it in VM under the same vNet?
