I am looking for the best practices for critical production environment with Terabyte scale MDX (MOLAP) model having Azure SQL Warehouse as a data source. Is it technically productive thing to use AZURE SQL WAREHOUSE as data source for cube running on a different VM(IaaS)? We are compelled by model size, hierarchies and custom rollup operations etc. to go for MDX model rather choosing tabular. I really appreciate your valuable suggestions!
