When I search results are being displayed randomly like

If I search with testing in search box results being displayed are both from title of the item and if the word testing is there in document it is displaying it in search results.

My requirement is relevant results should be initially displayed from Title of the item and then the content in the search results needs to be displayed.

I have trying Sort by Rank but that did not work,Please help me with this.

Hi Santhosh,

要在搜索结果的顶部显示标题匹配项，我们可以配置按排名排序"，然后，如果使用OOTB标题"列，则默认情况下其排名最高.

To show Title matches on top in the search result, we could configure Sorting by Rank, then if we use OOTB Title column, it is by default having the top most rank score.

Please go to Central Administration->Manage service Applications->search service application->search schema, find the "Title" and "Content" managed properties which maps the title column and content of document, edit the managed property, check context of the managed property in the Advanced Searchable settings if they are set with proper context.
