* The Azure master account:ryan@example.com, this account is created before activate the azure AD service (AAD) and verify the domain name of example.com.This account manager the billing and other service in Azure.

I try to use the desktop app installation of azure AD connect. i create a default domain on Azure and verify it (example.com). i will try to connect the Azure Ad connect using Ryan@example.com, but it failed with error of password incorrect.

Even ryan@example.com account added as global administrator in AAD, the connection from Azure Ad connect to AAD cannot use this account to login.

The work around is, I have to create a new user under the Global administration rules in Azure AD then use this new user in Azure AD connect. The existing user, even though it is under global administration rule, the ID is not usable to put into the Azure AD connect.
