We have two domain abc and xyz and we performed migration from SharePoint 2013 (abc domain)on premise to farm in another domain(xyz) which is also in SharePoint 2013.When we checked the permission for the user "abc\testuser" in the target site it did not show any permission.After using MoveSPUser powershell command and searching for "xyz\testuser" shows the permission.
