Hi, We are having a small SharePoint 2013 Farm. Two WFE servers and One App server. (Just to highlight - No Office Web Apps Server)

There are different kind of error messages which we are receiving based on how the document is opened

1. If I directly click on the document link and then click on , throwing the below server connectivity error

3. When we open a document in SharePoint, Word or Excel starts up and shows us the document is read only. We can check-out the document in the header and start editing. Now if we want to save the document it shows us the following message:
""A copy of this file is checked out on another machine. The server copy may not contain your latest changes. Would you like to discard your check out before opening the server copy""

Not sure what is stopping me to edit the documents and also not able to save it back to SharePoint library even though if I am able to edit on office client application. Enabled all the required features from SharePoint perspective and installed ‘Desktop
Experience’ windows feature and then started ‘Webclient’ windows service from servcies.msc console which is required to create, access and modify the internet based files.

What’s the version of your IE browser and the version of Office? Make sure you use same version of 32-bit/64-bit both IE and Office.
检查每个服务器上是否停止了任何服务应用程序池，如果是，请启动它.
Check if there is any service application pool stopped on each server, if yes, start it.
转到开始"->运行"->"iisreset"以重置IIS.
Go to Start->Run->iisreset to reset the IIS.
重新启动服务器并检查问题是否存在.
Restart the server and check if the issue exists.
