I am working on a sharepoint on-premises farm 2013. and i did the following:-

1.我添加了一个名为新闻与新闻"的新讨论板列表.公告"

1. I added a new Discussion Board list named "News & Announcements" .

2. Then i edit the home page and i added 2 App parts representing the same discussion board list.

3. What i need is inside the first App part to set the default view as "Featured".

4. While inside the second App part to keep the the view as "Recent".

so i was planning to have this layout inside the home page:-

so when users access the home page they will see the Featured discussion items on Top. and the Recent discussion item on the second app part.

Now the problem i am facing is that i am not sure how i can set the defualt view for my first app part to be "Featured" ?? as currently when users access the home page they will have the "Recent" view selected for both app parts. what i need to have the "Featured" view automatically selected for the first app part?? could this be achieved either using the app part settings, or using JavaScript/jQuery?
