I am in the process of prepping a WPF application for globalization/localization.  After some searching on this forum, it appears that, while WPF itself fully supports localization, there are some massive gaps in the tool chain used for the process.

Specifically, it has been stated repeatedly that locbaml is a sample tool not intended for production use.  My own testing of the tool bears this out, as the output it produces is nearly useless.

Does that mean that MS expects everyone to write their own, or is there going to be increased support for localization in a future version of VS?
