I'm using SharePoint 2013 and SharePoint Designer 2013. I have a list that has several dozen different views, and I reference that list on numerous other pages, each with their own individual view required. When editing the webpart, I've hit some upper limit on how many views show up in the drop-down menu, but I still have pages to create and they will need their own views. (All views are public views.)

There was a page for someone who encountered the same problem with SP 2010 (the question is titled "How to increase Selected Views limit more than 50 views in dropdown", but I can't provide a link as this particular account is too new), but the initial command given in that fix (Insert Data View Web Part) is no longer available in SD 2013. Can someone provide a good fix for how to get around that limit with SP and SD 2013? Thanks!

Looks like I can make the view in the master list and then just manually edit the 'current view' on the web part on the subsite, but if there is a way to use the dropdown menu, I'd still appreciate learning about it.
