We are running SharePoint Foundation 2013. Recently, we had a user try to create a site with the self-service Site Creation tool. The page errored out. We tried to find out if something had changed and in in the Central Administration site when you click on "Configure Self Service Site Creation" it will not open and failed with the Error "Common Language Runtime detected an
invalid program." The only thing that might have changed was Windows Updates, but we cannot find one that might be applicable. We have tried to disable and reenable the SSC via command line and no effect. Server reboot did not fix it either.
