I hope someone can help me out here. A user downloaded a document from a website, which as a date field with the date of download. She saved this document to her desktop. Days or weeks later, she uploaded this document to a SP List, once she opened the document, the date changed to: .:0123456789

I have created a Date column in SharePoint library and created a document with "7/25/2017 2:00 AM" value. Then I inserted the Date column in document content via Quick Parts and downloaded the document. After that, I uploaded the document (same content and different name) to library again and the Date column value was auto-populated "7/25/2017 2:00 AM" correctly.
