A third party company created the branding for our SharePoint 2013 site. On closer inspection I can see that they have created delegate controls for the header/footer etc. This means, to change something as small as the copyright date in the footer a full branding solution deployment is required, features activated etc. After reading into composed looks I was wondering if this could be implemented to ease branding maintenance?

A Composed Look is made up of Master Pages, CSS, Color palettes, Font palettes and Background image. The first step we need to do to create a composed look is creating a Master Page. You could use the master page with custom delegate controls or a new master page to configure a composed look.
