All databases will store images without problems, however, it may not be a sensible thing to do. Modern scanners can generate some very large images, and all databases have a finite amount of space - some are limited to as little as a couple of gigabyte. in addition, retrieving images from a database can use significant amounts of bandwidth, and result in slow processing.
