My client is using an affiliate software to track referrals for their sales team. It should be really simple to insert the code into the .htaccess file to make this work, however we keep running into issues. The software tech support said, that mod_proxy isn't installed and therefore the link redirects to the wrong site. My research on how to install or enable mod_proxy on Azure haven't lead me to anything that works.

We are using a web app in Azure as the test site https://zilchzaff.azurewebsites.net/
A referral link would be like this https://zilchzaff.azurewebsites.net/johndoe
but it redirects back to http://www.zaffersalesportal.com/scripts/page.php?a_aid=johndoe&a_bid=29c95769&a_file=
