Hello, 

I have created a new VM windows 10 OS. I am successfully able to do RDP , but not able to ping the VM nor access the files shared on that VM from other azure VM. 

I get error below error 

"Check the spelling of the name. Otherwise, there might be a problem with your network. To try ro identify and resolve network problems, click Diagnose."

Error code: 0x80004005

Ensure that, the virtual machine you created is in the same resource group where other resources are available for access. Else you may refer to virtual network peering.

The error code 0x80004005 in windows 10 machine may occur because of Windows updates. You may try updating you Win10 VM & see if it helps. (Source: https://www.ryadel.com/en/fix-windows-update-error-0x80004005-windows-10/)

For the error "Check the spelling of the name. Otherwise…", you may refer to below steps & see if it helps:

• Press Start button (Windows Flag)
• Type Control Panel
• Click Advanced sharing settings
• Under Domain select the Turn on network discovery radio button
• Click Save changes
