if you want to update your application you can try to deploy it with the click once deployment.. you choose a location to publish your files and users will check that location if the file is updated.. and prompt the user to download it..but clickonce deployment is limiting.. you could try to code your own updates or there are commercial tools out there that help you do it .. take a look at wyUpdate or you might want to take a look at this..


as for the picture thing you might have to code it yourself.. using tcp or some other protocol hope it helped..
