I was not sure where to ask this question so I am putting it here. I am using Metalogix for the SharePoint 2010 and 2013 migrations to O365. As part of the installation I have to install Metalogix WSPs on the target SP environment, in this case it is SharePoint 2013 on Windows Server 2012 R2 server. Installation of Metalogix Content Matrix SharePoint WSPs finishes successfully but it does not get deployed. I checked the solution management on Central Administration and it does not show up in the list. Any help is appreciated.

Note: First time I installed the WSP on the server, I was not the FARM Admin but I was admin on the server. I tried again after I was given the FARM admin privileges,  but received the same result.

You need database permissions and spshell admin permission to install as well if you are using powershell, which you need to add the solution.  I'd assume the application is doing this in the background.  Use the setup account to install if it still has permissions or temporarily give the SharePoint farm account admin permissions to the computer you are using, then use the farm account to run the installation as both these accounts will already have the database permissions and shell admin permissions required.
