I am just writing to day to ask and see if there would be any interest in an open source ribbon/Office 2007 UI library coded in WPF/WinForms. The project is just an idea right now. My feeling is that the community would benefit in the long run.

If anyone is interested please let me know ASAP.

That project uses winforms to make the control.

Also there is a project on codeproject.com but the liscence is very restrictive.

I would recommend using WPF to code it, but that is just my preference. There is definately a need for an open source WPF Ribbon control.
