Hi,

I am creating a repository which will have various fields and attachments. To ensure simplicity in uploading content, I have created a list on a site with the following fields:

Title - 

Proposal ID

FY - 

Industry - 

Capability - 

Document Link** - 

** User has to upload a proposal in the document library titled "Proposal Repository" and submit the link in the list.

For Proposal Id, FY fields I have created separate list and through look fields created columns in the list.

My query:

Now in the document library titled "Proposal Repository" when a user uploads a document, I am able to inherit the fields value of Proposal ID, FY submitted through the list. But unable to inherit managed metadata field values for Industry and Capability.

All the settings for activating managed metadata are accurate. 

Any solution for this?

Hi,

You cannot use or inherit the Managed Metadata field values as Lookup column as you did for Proposal ID and FY column.
