It seems that my toolbar is missing when I click on edit mode in Sharepoint. I have tried everything to bring it back with no luck.

I used to be able to just click edit and it will show up.

Whether you encounter the issue when you edit a page though click gear icon->edit page in UI, and then "FORMAT TEXT" and "INSERT" Tab don’t appear as expect?

If so, whether this page is in the Pages Library?
