Azure Site Recovery 用于业务连续性和灾难恢复.

Azure VM and Recovery Services Vault should be in the same region/location if you want to protect Azure VMs with the Azure Backup Service. You can’t restore the backed-up data to a secondary location/region with the Azure Backup service in the case of VM/datacenter failure. You can only restore data to the primary location/region. I would suggest you to use Azure Site Recovery for business continuity and disaster recovery.
